March 2020

Recently announced, Amy MacAlpine, RVT, will be lecturing at the OAVT 2020 conference on three different lecture topics pertaining to birds of prey. The three sessions will be 'Modern Falconry', 'Handling the Bird of Prey Patient', and 'Captive Management Injuries in Birds of Prey.' October 2019

Earlier this year Amy was interviewed by the OAVT in honour of RVT month. This year's theme for OAVT month was 'Breaking the Mold' and it explored the different roles RVTs working outside of the typical clinic setting and breaking new paths for their careers. August 2019

We have just launched our new party program called Raptors and Reptiles! A hands-on party experience, perfect for children or adult animal lovers. This 90 minute visit to your home includes leopard geckos, corn snakes, and Harris' hawks with RVT's providing educational insight on each of the species. Get hands on and personal with some of nature's most fascinating creatures in an intimate setting for as many guests as you can fit in your home. We will be doing education and demonstrations at Wilmot Orchards periodically throughtout the duration of their PYO blueberry season! Check out their website to see which days you can find us there. We will be answering questions and taking photos!

March 2019

See us on Animal Planet's episode 3 on season 2 of 'Dog's Best Friend'! We discuss the working relationship between our bird, Aspen, and our dog, Ohses. You can view our episode on the Discovery Channel website.
